Iconesse Great Wave Candle

Wrap yourself in a breeze of fresh mandarin and sun-ripened lemon combined with sunny sea amber while floating on a delicate lotus, refreshing water lily, and the feeling of cool sea spray against your skin. An earthy moss and deep amber base, gently plunges into fragrant depths of mellow musk.

Visit The Great Wave Off Kanagawa by Hokusai Katsushikawork  1830–1833 woodblock print at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

The print depicts three boats moving through a storm tossed sea and Mount Fuji visible in the background. This is the first in a series of landscape prints entitled Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji. The use of Prussian blue in this work revolutionized Japanese prints. The Great Wave is the best-known work of ukiyo-e artists in Japan and all around the world.
